Me and DeeCeeDees were noobing aroung with the prestige COD players in Firing Range…I was so close to a crate drop when WTF! You know the three primary colors: red green blue; and when you lose one, the others get really strong. I am pretty sure my xbox lost red, to the screen got super green. This lasted 30 seconds. The Match ended so I did a reboot…black screen of death avec sounds. This is a worse xbox problem then RROD red rings of death.
There are 150 million youtube videos on fixing the red rings of death. Here is my fave from a creepy clown with green hair. Mainly you are replacing worn out thermal paste on the GPU and then re-using the xclamp or using a new one or some people use 5mm screws and soft washers. You then use towels to overheat the unit…simply to reset it…and all is well. The problem with the green screen is more difficult. This means your soldier connections most likely failed and you can then pick of a heatgun, use tinfoil and voodoo, and attempt to reflow the soldier. Here is an example fix.
